This morning on my way to Mass, I was advised to seek out Our Lady of the Rivers, which is on the banks of the Mississippi River in Portage des Sioux, MO. The story goes that the statue was built in thanksgiving to Our Lady of the River for saving the town from a flood in 1951. (I'm still searching to see how covered She was in 1993).
