I know you are all dying to know where I am going in November!
11/1 All Saints in University City (10 am)
11/2 St. Francis deSales (6:30 pm)
11/8 St. Elizabeth, Mother of St. John the Baptist (may exchange with All Souls)
11/15 St. Elizabeth of Hungary
11/22 Christ the King
11/29 is still open to debate either St. John the Baptist, St. Simon, Old Cathedral (or you could persuade me to go elsewhere!)
Tina,
ReplyDeleteI suggest that you come to a 10 a.m. Sunday Mass at St. Rose Philippine Duchesne in Florissant! I'd be very interested in your first impression of our parish.
Tina,
ReplyDeleteI hope you'll try out the 9:30 am Mass at St. Mary of the Victories, located downtown at 744 S. 3rd. St. The Mass is said -- or rather sung -- largely in Latin, but it's a post-Vatican II Mass rather than the EF Mass that is said at St. Frances de Sales.
Interestingly, the 11:00 Mass at St. Mary of the Victories is partly in Hungarian. But the Latin Mass would provide you an interesting comparison with the EF Mass at St. Frances de Sales.
I enjoy your blog very much. Keep up the good work.
Chris Brown
Hey Chris!
ReplyDeleteThanks for reading. I did go to St. Mary of Victories in August to the 11 am :)
I'm going to try and squeeze in the 9:30 am at some point....
